About Jonathan:

Jonathan Greenblatt is a serial social entrepreneur and an acknowledged thought leader on ethical branding, global development and social entrepreneurship. Greenblatt is the founder and president of Our Good Works, the nonprofit organization that manages All for Good, the open source web-based platform designed to enable more Americans to serve. He formerly worked as CEO of GOOD Worldwide, Inc., an integrated media company whose products include the award-winning print title, GOOD Magazine as well as an online destination, www.GOOD.Is.

In 2003, Greenblatt and Peter Thum co-founded Ethos Brands and launched Ethos Water, a bottled water that helps children around the world get clean water. By linking water consumption to such a cause, Ethos allowed consumers to engage in a collective effort to help developing communities have access to water. Ethos has grown from a small start-up to one that is projected to donate at least US $10 million through 2010 to support humanitarian water programs around the world. When Starbucks Coffee Company purchased the brand in 2005, Greenblatt joined the company as Vice-President of Global Consumer Products and served on the board of directors of the Starbucks Foundation.

Greenblatt recently served on the Obama-Biden Presidential Transition Team, helping develop the agenda around innovation and society. He also spent more than five years in the Clinton Administration where he served in the White House and the US Department of Commerce. Greenblatt has served as an advisor to the United Nations Foundation and supported the creation and launch of the Global Water Challenge. Currently, Greenblatt teaches social entrepreneurship at the Anderson Graduate School of Management at UCLA and advises corporations, foundations and non-governmental organizations on the intersection between business and sustainability. Greenblatt holds a Master of Business Administration from the Kellogg School of Management and earned a Bachelor of Arts with Honors from Tufts University.
