Energy Practicum, Europe - Deadline to Register: 10/9/09

New program offering: The Energy Practicum.

Registration deadline: Friday, October 9th

When: Spring Term 2 course

Tentative travel dates: May 6 - 17, 2010

What is it?

It is basically a GATE-like course but with an industry-specific focus to align with the 6 key industry verticals identified by Dean Sheppard. We will examine the energy sector in Western Europe with emphasis on alternative energy.  In addition to offering an industry focused program, the trip will afford students a wonderful opportunity to visit the key sites in Europe including Berlin, Copenhagen and the south of France for the Cannes Film festival and the Grand Prix.

Who can apply?

As this is a Spring 2 course, it is currently only available to first year students but this policy is being revisited. Should we be able to make exceptions to this policy, and accept second year students, we will send a notification to all students.

See attached flier for more information.
